With a secured pipeline of multi-rise residential and high-density new-build schemes, the business is strengthening its technical and design capability to support a more structured, coordinated and compliant delivery model.

We're now looking for a Design Manager who can coordinate design information across complex multi-storey projects, ensuring clarity, buildability and compliance from pre-construction through delivery. You'll work closely with architects, engineers and specialist consultants, helping drive technical consistency and supporting the wider project team with accurate, timely information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate design across multi-rise residential and complex new-build schemes
  • Support pre-construction design development, ensuring buildability and compliance
  • Work with architects, engineers and consultants across structural, civil, façade and MEP disciplines
  • Maintain design trackers, information schedules and quality control processes
  • Review design proposals to ensure alignment with budgets, programme and value-engineering opportunities
  • Support planning submissions, technical approvals and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure design information meets Building Regulations and modern safety requirements
  • Chair design coordination meetings and provide clear updates to project teams
  • Facilitate communication between construction, commercial, technical and client teams
  • Manage document control processes and ensure accurate information flow
What We're Looking For:
  • Experience as a Design Manager for a main contractor or developer
  • Background in design & build, new-build residential or multi-storey projects
  • Understanding of façade and envelope interfaces within new-build environments
  • Strong knowledge of CDM and Building Regulations
  • Confident managing consultants and multiple stakeholders
  • Organised, proactive and solutions-focused
  • Clear communicator with credibility across internal teams and clients
  • Able to manage design information in a fast-paced environment
What's In It For You:
  • £55,000-£65,000 salary
  • Strong package and benefits
  • Opportunity to join early and influence how the design function develops
  • Direct access to senior leadership and a respected technical team
  • A pipeline of multi-rise residential schemes
  • Clear progression as the business continues to grow
