We're supporting a growing contractor and housebuilder with an established development arm, known for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-tenure schemes across the region. The business has delivered several hundred homes in recent years and built strong relationships with partners, funders and local authorities. Following new ownership and the appointment of two highly respected senior leaders with extensive experience delivering large-scale residential, BTR and PBSA projects across the UK, the company is entering a new phase of growth. With a secured pipeline of façade remediation and re-cladding schemes in London, they are strengthening their delivery teams as they establish a new division focused on complex building envelope projects. This is a rare opportunity to join early, shape delivery standards and play a key role in establishing the façade function within a business with serious momentum.
As Façade Manager, you will take ownership of on-site delivery for major re-cladding schemes across London, ranging from £12m to £45m and up to 18 storeys, leading day-to-day façade operations and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest technical standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Leading façade delivery on live re-cladding and remediation projects
- Managing daily site operations, sequencing and progress across low- and high-rise buildings
- Overseeing installation of systems including SFS, rainscreen, brickwork, aluminium, insulation and curtain wall
- Ensuring strict compliance with H&S, fire safety and remediation requirements
- Managing subcontractors and maintaining robust QA processes
- Chairing progress meetings and coordinating with design, commercial and senior leadership
- Identifying and resolving technical issues to maintain programme certainty
- Reporting on progress, risks and performance
- Proven experience as a Façade Manager, Cladding Manager, or similar site-based façade role
- Strong technical knowledge of façade systems including: Rainscreen cladding, Brickwork façades, Aluminium systems, Curtain walling, SFS & insulation
- Experience delivering re-cladding/remediation projects is highly desirable
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage complex logistics on mid- and high-rise buildings
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), First Aid
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing division
