Are you an experienced Telesales Team Leader or Call Centre Team Leader looking for a role where you can genuinely lead, coach, and grow a high-performing sales team? You will take ownership of an established outbound telesales team, driving performance through coaching, motivation, and clear direction while playing a hands-on role in shaping sales strategy and results.
The Role
As Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering consistent sales performance while creating a positive, high-energy culture where people succeed.
- Lead, motivate and develop a telesales / call centre sales team
- Drive performance against sales targets, KPIs and conversion rates
- Deliver regular 1-2-1s, coaching sessions and performance reviews
- Coach on call structure, questioning techniques, objection handling and closing
- Ensure a strong and active sales pipeline is built and maintained
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales performance
- Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members
- Manage day-to-day operational needs including attendance, holidays and absence
- Identify new sales opportunities and implement improvement initiatives
- Use data and MI to inform decisions and improve results
- Lead from the front in a hands-on, results-driven environment

Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Telesales Team Leader / Call Centre Team Leader
- Strong background in outbound sales or B2B telesales
- Demonstrable track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent coaching and people development skills
- Confident managing performance, behaviour and results
- Strong communication and influencing ability
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- IT literate - CRM systems, Excel, Outlook and sales reporting tools
