QA & Compliance Manager – Accommodation, Education & Facilities Sector

Salford Quays, Manchester | Hybrid Working | Full‑time (37.5 hours) • £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

About the Opportunity

We\’re recruiting for an experienced QA & Compliance Manager to join a well‑established organisation operating within the education, accommodation, and facilities management sector. This is a key national role focused on driving operational compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across multiple UK sites and contracts.

If you have experience managing contracts, SLAs, and compliance frameworks within a university, school, student accommodation, or SPV environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where you can make a real operational impact.

The Role

As QA & Compliance Manager, you\’ll take ownership of ensuring all business operations remain compliant, consistent, and efficient. You\’ll be the go‑to expert for policies, procedures, and training frameworks – embedding best practice and ensuring every site meets the required standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the review and implementation of compliance frameworks, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Ensuring training and certifications are always up to date, completed, and fully signed off.
  • Managing contract compliance, SLAs, and service delivery standards across multiple sites.
  • Overseeing incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis, ensuring corrective actions are tracked and closed.
  • Maintaining strong document governance and version control within compliance systems.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives using the Plan‑Do‑Check‑Act methodology.
  • Producing clear, data‑led compliance reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Acting as a key link between operational, estates, and leadership teams to promote a culture of quality and accountability.

About You

We\’re looking for someone who is naturally thorough, organised, and solutions‑focused – with a strong grasp of compliance management and operational delivery.

You\’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in a QA, Compliance, or Risk Management role.
  • Background in education, student accommodation, FM, or contract management (SPVs, universities, schools).
  • Strong understanding of audit processes, policy frameworks, and governance principles.
  • Experience overseeing training and competency frameworks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to analyse and present data.
  • Confident communicator who can influence and support teams across all levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and compliance/document management platforms.

What\’s on Offer

  • £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (DOE)
  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays, rising with service)
  • Birthday day off
  • Pension & life assurance
  • Private healthcare & Employee Assistance Programme
  • Hybrid working (mix of home and Salford office)
  • Lifestyle perks – including gym discounts, cinema tickets, and wellbeing benefits

Why Apply?

This is a standout opportunity for someone who thrives on creating order, driving compliance, and building a culture of accountability and quality. You\’ll play a crucial role in ensuring operations run safely, efficiently, and in line with best practice across a growing national organisation.

Ready to make a real impact? Apply now to join as QA & Compliance Manager and help set new standards for operational excellence, compliance, and quality across the UK.
