As the portfolio continues to expand, our client is seeking a confident, proactive Business Development Executive, ideally fluent in Mandarin/Cantonese, to help grow their landlord base and support a smooth, high-quality experience for new investors joining the business.
You will play a key role in onboarding new landlords, nurturing warm prospects, and ensuring every property is presented and managed to a market-leading standard.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively contact and pitch to prospective landlords to grow the managed portfolio.
- Secure units from portfolio landlords, including additional apartments where it makes practical and commercial sense.
- Develop targeted marketing strategies and work closely with the marketing team on campaigns to attract new landlords.
- Conduct market appraisals and valuations, advising on rental levels based on trends, comparables, and seasonal factors.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of potential clients, nurturing relationships and converting them at the right time.
- Manage the full investor journey - from initial enquiry through to serving notice on their current agent.
- Collaborate with the lettings team to ensure newly onboarded properties are let quickly and efficiently.
- Experience in sales, business development, or property (lettings, estate agency, or portfolio management).
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable in an outbound, growth-focused role with warm and semi-warm prospects.
- Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese (both preferred but not essential).
- £28,000 base salary
