Make an impact. Build relationships. Deliver great recruitment.
Recruitment has changed. We believe the way recruiters work should change with it. The People Pod was founded by two people with more than 20 years' combined recruitment and sales experience who saw an opportunity to challenge traditional recruitment methods. Rather than chasing volume, we focus on quality over quantity. We build genuine relationships, invest in understanding our clients and candidates, and take a more considered approach to finding the right people - not simply the most available people. We're now looking for an experienced Delivery Consultant / Recruitment Resourcer to join our team and play a key role in delivering great candidates for our clients.
Make your mark through great delivery. This is a recruitment role for someone who knows how to find and engage great candidates, understands what makes a successful placement and takes pride in delivering a quality service. You'll have established clients and live vacancies to work on from day one, giving you an immediate platform to make placements while developing your recruitment expertise, candidate network and reputation. This isn't a role where you'll be expected to spend your days cold calling businesses or building a new client base from scratch. Instead, you'll focus on what you do best - finding great people, engaging with candidates and delivering the right talent for our clients. You'll also have the opportunity to develop your client management skills, build trusted relationships and become an important part of how we deliver for our clients.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing candidate delivery across a range of live vacancies, from initial search through to placement.
- Proactively sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, databases, referrals, networking and targeted headhunting.
- Building and maintaining a strong network of high-quality candidates.
- Conducting engaging candidate conversations to understand experience, motivations, aspirations and suitability.
- Screening and assessing candidates against specific client requirements.
- Managing candidate pipelines and ensuring vacancies are progressed efficiently.
- Working closely with consultants and senior team members to understand vacancies and develop effective search strategies.
- Building strong relationships with existing clients and acting as a reliable point of contact throughout the recruitment process where appropriate.
- Coordinating interviews, feedback and offers, keeping both clients and candidates informed throughout.
- Developing your own knowledge of recruitment markets, roles and talent pools.
What we're looking for:
- We're looking for an experienced recruiter who is confident with candidate delivery and wants to develop their career within a business that values quality over quantity.
- Previous experience working within a recruitment agency environment.
- A strong track record of sourcing and engaging candidates across a range of roles.
- Experience managing candidates through the recruitment process from initial approach to placement.
- Excellent candidate management and relationship-building skills.
- Experience of headhunting and proactive candidate generation.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple vacancies and candidate processes.
- The confidence to engage with clients and hiring managers professionally.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of what clients need from a recruitment partner.
- A proactive approach and the ability to take ownership rather than simply waiting for instructions.
- A genuine interest in developing your recruitment career and broadening your client management experience.
- A belief that quality relationships and great recruitment matter more than simply chasing volume.
What you'll get in return:
- Competitive basic salary + commission.
- A clear route to progression as your experience develops.
- An established client base and a strong pipeline of live opportunities.
- The opportunity to develop your sourcing, headhunting and candidate management skills further.
- The opportunity to develop your client management skills without the pressure of new business generation.
- Exposure to multiple specialist markets and interesting UK and international clients.
- 30 days' annual leave.
- Your birthday off.
- Car allowance scheme.
- Holiday incentives.
- Lunch clubs at top restaurants.
- Regular team socials.
- Mobile phone.
- Bolton office with hybrid working.
- Breakout areas, kitchen and pool table.
- Gyms, restaurants and shops within walking distance.
- A collaborative environment where your contribution genuinely matters.
Build on what you already know. You'll be joining a growing business with ambitious plans, an established client base and an experienced team around you. This is an opportunity to take the recruitment skills you've already developed and build on them - becoming stronger at search and headhunting, developing deeper candidate relationships and gaining greater exposure to client management.
