Reporting to the Country Manager, you'll play a key role in identifying new applications, markets and customers for recycled materials, helping shape the future of sustainable manufacturing. As part of a successful European Group owned by one of the world's largest retail organisations, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with sister companies across Europe, sharing ideas, developing new opportunities and supporting international innovation projects. The Role

Every day, valuable materials are recovered that have the potential for a second life. Your challenge is simple: How can we create even greater value from them? Working closely with the Country Manager, you'll research new markets, engage with manufacturers, identify innovative product applications and build relationships with organisations that can transform recycled materials into commercially successful products. This is far more than desk-based research, it's about turning ideas into revenue.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Research new UK and international markets.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities for recycled materials.
  • Build relationships with manufacturers, processors and product developers.
  • Explore innovative applications for recovered materials.
  • Monitor market trends and emerging technologies.
  • Support the development of new products and revenue streams.
  • Work on strategic innovation projects with the Commercial Director.

About You

You'll be commercially curious, proactive and excited by solving real-world challenges. Backgrounds could include: Recycling or Waste Management, Manufacturing, Product Development, Engineering, Sustainability, Commodity Trading, Materials Broker, Materials Science.
