While window and door fitting experience is important, the core focus of this role is conservatory roof removal and replacement, so strong conservatory installation skills are essential.
We're recruiting for a well-established, nationwide window & door repair and replacement business that has proudly serviced Blue Chip insurance companies since 1986.Due to continued growth and expansion in Southampton, we are looking for skilled UPVC Conservatory Installers / Window Fitters based in the area to join their team.
This is a permanent PAYE role, not subcontracting, not short-term, and not seasonal.
The RoleAs a Conservatory Installer / Window Fitter, you will: Remove and replace conservatory roofs using hand and power tools (primary focus)Install and repair conservatories to insurance standardsFit windows, doors, and associated UPVC products where requiredTake accurate site measurements and carry out bespoke adjustmentsComplete repair and replacement works professionally and efficientlyClear site and maintain professional presentationSupport and mentor assistant fittersWork independently while maintaining high safety standardsThe Ideal CandidateYou will likely: Have strong experience installing and replacing conservatories and conservatory roofsHave window and door fitting experience (UPVC)Ideally hold NVQ Level 2 in FenestrationBe able to work independently and problem-solve on siteBe health & safety consciousHold a full UK driving licenceWhat's on Offer?
