An excellent opportunity has emerged for a dedicated 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our dynamic team at Martindales Trade Frames. Based out of our Head Office in Bolton, with occasional overnight travel as required.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Competitive from £28,950 - £29,000 plus bonus + benefits

7.5 Tonne Driver Responsibilities:

  • Safely and efficiently operate 7.5 tonne vehicles to transport goods to designated locations, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring accuracy and security of cargo.
  • Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules and minimise travel time.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues or delays.

7.5 Tonne Driver Requirements:

  • Valid 7.5 Tonne driving licence with CPC qualification.
  • Previous experience as a 7.5 Tonne Driver, preferably within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and route planning.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends as required.
