While window and door fitting experience is important, the core focus of this role is conservatory roof removal and replacement, so strong conservatory installation skills are essential.
We are recruiting for a well-established, nationwide window & door repair and replacement business that has proudly serviced Blue Chip insurance companies since 1986. Due to continued growth and expansion in Kent, we are looking for skilled UPVC Conservatory Installers / Window Fitters based in the area to join their team. This is a permanent PAYE role, not subcontracting, not short-term, and not seasonal.
The Role
- Remove and replace conservatory roofs using hand and power tools (primary focus)
- Install and repair conservatories to insurance standards
- Fit windows, doors, and associated UPVC products where required
- Take accurate site measurements and carry out bespoke adjustments
- Complete repair and replacement works professionally and efficiently
- Clear site and maintain professional presentation
- Support and mentor assistant fitters
- Work independently while maintaining high safety standards
The Ideal Candidate
- Have strong experience installing and replacing conservatories and conservatory roofs
- Have window and door fitting experience (UPVC)
- Ideally hold NVQ Level 2 in Fenestration
- Be able to work independently and problem-solve on site
- Be health & safety conscious
- Hold a full UK driving licence
