Job Description

Accommodation Manager – Premium Student Living

Our high-growth client is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee a premium residence. This role is ideal for retail or hospitality professionals looking to transition into an exciting and rewarding industry, where you'll play a key role in delivering a five-star living experience for their customers.

Your Role as an Assistant Manager:

  • Help to oversee the full day-to-day operations of the residence, ensuring the highest standards of service.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire your team to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Help manage all aspects of building maintenance and facilities management to ensure a safe, compliant, and welcoming environment.
  • Work alongside a Facilities technician to ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, audits, and reports.

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 1 year' management experience within the retail or hospitality industry.
  • A proven track record of delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Some operational management experience.
  • A natural, hands-on leader with a passion for service and customer engagement.
  • Excellent planning, organisational, and financial management skills.
  • A self-motivated, energetic, and solutions-focused approach.

Given it's away from retail it has a better work / life balance regarding hours and days of the week – there are 3 shift patterns Mon-Fri: 7AM – 4PM / 9AM – 6pm / 12am-9pm and 1 in 3 weekends.
