Payroll Administrator
Up to Β£15.44 per hour, depending on experience | Full time, permanent | Flexible part time considered
We're recruiting a Payroll Administrator for an established business looking for someone organised, accurate and confident handling confidential information.
The role is available full time. Part time applicants will also be considered if they can offer flexibility around payroll deadlines, as the key processing days vary from month to month.
The role
You'll help deliver an accurate, timely payroll and be a helpful point of contact for employee queries. Your responsibilities will include:

Processing payroll to agreed deadlines

Entering and checking starters, leavers, pay changes, overtime, deductions and absences

Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records

Using Ceequel and Payroll Opera to manage payroll information

Preparing and updating payroll spreadsheets in Excel

Checking and reconciling payroll data, and resolving discrepancies

Responding clearly and professionally to payroll queries

Preparing payroll reports and supporting related administration
About you
You'll have previous payroll administration experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to work calmly to deadlines. You should be comfortable using Excel and handling sensitive employee information with discretion.
Experience with Ceequel or Payroll Opera would be an advantage. You'll also need to be approachable, dependable and willing to work with colleagues to resolve queries promptly.
Pay: Up to Β£15.44 per hour, depending on experience and agreed hours.
