Join a team at the forefront of defence technology in a hybrid role based out of Bristol. We’re looking for a Systems Engineer to help develop and assess the core technologies that guide our missile systems. You'll work on advanced navigation sensors—like GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems), anti-jam units, and Inertial Measurement Units (IMUs)—as part of high-profile, fast-moving defence projects.
This role involves close collaboration with our international partners, including regular engagement with our French teams, and offers opportunities for travel and technical development.
Your role will include:
- Specifying and assessing GNSS receivers, CRPAs, and IMUs
- Monitoring supplier tech roadmaps and supporting equipment trials
- Contributing to multi-national research programmes and innovation initiatives
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or similar
- Background in defence, aerospace, navigation, or RF systems
- Project delivery experience and knowledge of modelling tools (e.g. MATLAB)
- Understanding of GNSS functionality, anti-jam tech, and inertial sensors
