This is a 12 month FTC in Manchester with an urgent requirement to start ASAP. What if your role wasn’t simply to deliver projects—but to become the trusted advisor to some of your customers’ most senior leaders? I’m working with an established UK technology business that’s investing significantly in its Customer Delivery function following continued growth. The organisation delivers mission-critical software to leading financial institutions, with implementations that genuinely transform the way their customers operate.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be juggling dozens of small accounts. Instead, you’ll take ownership of a select portfolio of strategic customers, leading complex software implementations from discovery through to successful delivery and ongoing partnership. You’ll become the trusted face of delivery, working directly with C-suite stakeholders while coordinating internal technical, product and professional services teams to ensure exceptional outcomes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning the end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise software implementations
  • Building long-term relationships with senior customer stakeholders, including CIOs, CTOs, COOs and executive leadership teams
  • Leading delivery governance, managing risks and ensuring projects remain commercially successful
  • Working closely with Product, Engineering and Customer Success to deliver outstanding customer experiences
  • Balancing customer advocacy with commercial awareness, confidently managing expectations and constructively challenging where required
  • Managing a small portfolio of strategic customer accounts rather than a high-volume customer base

What we’re looking for:

  • You’ll most likely come from an enterprise software or SaaS vendor where you’ve been responsible for delivering complex customer implementations.
  • You’ll probably have experience in one or more of the following: Professional Services, Customer Delivery, Software Implementation, Banking, Lending or Mortgage platforms.
  • You’ll be comfortable engaging with senior executives, equally at ease discussing delivery plans with technical teams as presenting progress and risks to a customer board.
  • Experience of Agile delivery methodologies and managing multiple workstreams is essential.

Why consider this opportunity?

This is a chance to join a highly regarded software organisation at an exciting stage of growth, where Customer Delivery is recognised as a strategic function rather than a support service. You’ll have genuine ownership, significant customer exposure, the opportunity to influence delivery strategy and the backing of an experienced leadership team committed to investing in both their customers and their people.
