An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Food Safety and H&S Manager to lead all aspects of safety across a multi-site estate. You will partner with teams across the business to design, implement and continuously improve a robust safety management system. The role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation while embedding a positive, proactive safety culture. Working closely with senior leadership, you will help protect the brand, support operational excellence, and ensure all environments are safe, clean and legally compliant.

Key Accountabilities

  • Take overall accountability for Health & Safety, Food Safety and Fire Safety across the business.
  • Act as subject matter expert for safety standards, policies and procedures, driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead strategic safety programmes (e.g. First Aid, Fire Marshals), ensuring consistent compliance across all sites.
  • Deliver internal audits, site visits and compliance programmes, with clear action planning and follow-up.
  • Manage incident reporting, investigations and trend analysis, including statutory reporting (e.g. RIDDOR).
  • Monitor changes in legislation and liaise with regulatory bodies and enforcement authorities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Property, Customer Services and senior stakeholders, including board-level reporting.

Person Profile

  • Experience within a safety role in QSR, retail or hospitality environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of H&S, food safety and fire safety legislation.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Confident engaging with regulatory bodies and external authorities.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive in approach.
  • NEBOSH National General Certificate (desirable).
  • Level 4 Food Safety qualification (desirable).
