We're working with a well-established business in Guernsey to recruit a Finance Assistant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, likes to stay organised and takes pride in getting the detail right.
Whether you've already gained some finance experience or you're looking to build on your existing skills, you'll be joining a supportive team where you'll have the opportunity to learn, develop and get involved in a wide range of day-to-day finance activities.
What you'll be doing No two days are quite the same, but your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and processing invoices
- Assisting with payments, refunds and banking transactions
- Supporting month-end activities, including journals and reporting
- Maintaining supplier records and helping with new supplier set-up
- Assisting with audit preparation and reporting packs
- Keeping financial records accurate, organised and up to date About you We're keen to hear from people who:
- Have some experience in a finance or accounts role, or are looking to build a career within finance
- Have excellent attention to detail and enjoy working with numbers
- Are well organised and able to manage their own workload
- Enjoy working as part of a team and communicating with colleagues
