The Environmental Manager will play a pivotal role in leading site quality assurance, laboratory operations, feed safety and environmental compliance. Acting as the technical authority on site, the role combines hands on scientific oversight with strategic leadership, driving a culture of proactive compliance, continuous improvement and environmental responsibility across manufacturing operations.
Key Accountabilities- Lead all site quality assurance, laboratory and environmental compliance activities
- Manage and develop QC laboratory operations, ensuring scientific integrity across microbiological, PCR and analytical testing
- Maintain and continuously improve integrated management systems aligned to ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, UFAS, FEMAS and FAMI QS
- Own internal and external audit programmes, ensuring ongoing audit readiness and timely closure of non conformances
- Act as the site expert for HACCP, VACCP and TACCP
