They are looking to expand their UK commercial presence with an Assistant Sales Manager to join their growing team. Their business serves a diverse B2B customer base across the meat, savoury, snack, human and pet nutrition sectors, supplying directly to food service and retail manufacturers. They pride themselves on building lasting partnerships and delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.
The Role
This is a varied and dynamic, customer-facing position where you will play a key role in both account management and business development across the UK market. Working alongside other Sales Managers and reporting to the European Regional Sales Manager, you will help strengthen existing relationships while identifying and unlocking new commercial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and grow relationships with existing customers and distributors
- Identify and win new business, developing a loyal customer base
- Conduct regular customer visits across the UK
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
- Proactively manage and follow up on customer projects and opportunities
- Support the development of Key Accounts
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and industry developments
