Operating from a modern facility, the team is dedicated to continuous improvement and maintaining industry-leading accreditations, including BRC. They are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join the technical team. In this role, you’ll support the Technical Manager in maintaining and improving food safety and quality systems. Your contribution will be essential in ensuring compliance with BRC standards and their commitment to producing safe, legal and high-quality food. Key Responsibilities * Support and maintain QA and nutritional standards in line with BRC Higher Level accreditation * Perform QC, QA and hygiene checks across production, including cleaning audits and documentation reviews * Collect product and environmental samples for micro, shelf life, swab and ATP testing * Carry out weight, calibration, and traceability checks Coordinate tasting sessions and participate in sensory evaluation panels * Assist with internal audits and complaint investigations * Liaise with external laboratories and pest control providers * Ensure all test records and corrective actions are documented and communicated appropriately Person Profile You’ll be someone who enjoys working methodically, with a strong eye for detail and a passion for food safety. You should be confident with documentation, sampling, and working cross-functionally across production and technical teams. * Previous experience in a QA or food production role (preferred) * Understanding of GMP and HACCP Able to carry out and record various quality checks (weights, calibration, hygiene etc.) * Comfortable with data entry, reporting, and liaising with internal and external teams * A team player who is hands-on, reliable and well-organised REF: PR/(phone number removed) Due to a high volume of responses, we cannot reply to each application individually.
