Part-Time Dental Nurse (2 days per week, Monday & Wednesday - 17 hours)
Location: Bromley
Days: Mondays & Wednesdays
Start Date: April start ideal
Salary: £14.00 - £16.50 per hour including GDC & Indemnity Insurance paid for.
Our client is a well-established, modern dental practice specialising in Smile Makeovers. The practice features 4 surgeries and offers a strong clinical environment with opportunities to grow as the service expands over the next 6 months.
You will support clinicians delivering a wide range of advanced treatments, including:
- General & restorative procedures
- Cosmetic dentistry (smile makeover)
- Invisalign and other orthodontic treatments
- Dental Implants (an additional requirement, not necessary)
Duties:
- Chairside assistance across a range of dental procedures
- Accurate record keeping and compliance with GDC standards
- Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments in accordance with health and safety standards
- Providing excellent patient care, including explaining procedures and offering reassurance
- Managing patient records accurately using IT systems and maintaining confidentiality at all times
- Supporting patients throughout their visit, including answering queries and providing post-treatment advice
- Ensuring the clinic environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with infection control protocols
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient information
Experience:
- Previous experience in dental nursing with valid GDC registration
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Basic IT skills for managing patient records and appointment scheduling
- A compassionate approach to patient care with excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and sterilisation practices is advantageous but not mandatory
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience or training in implants
- Exposure to cosmetic or orthodontic workflows (e.g. Invisalign)
