Due to continued growth in our implant department, we are seeking a motivated and professional Implant Nurse to join our experienced clinical team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified dental nurse who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing outstanding support during complex dental procedures.

The Role

As an Implant Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting our implant clinicians throughout the patient journey, from consultation through to surgical and restorative treatment stages. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Chairside assistance during implant surgical and restorative procedures.
  • Preparation and maintenance of implant surgery equipment, instruments, and materials.
  • Ensuring compliance with CQC, HTM 01-05, and cross-infection control protocols.
  • Supporting clinicians with treatment planning and patient management.
  • Assisting with digital workflows, including scanning and imaging where applicable.
  • Providing reassurance and excellent care to patients undergoing treatment.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and stock control.
  • Supporting the wider clinical team as required.

Essential Requirements

  • GDC-registered Dental Nurse.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
  • Professional, reliable, and positive attitude.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Sedation Nursing qualification and experience assisting with IV and/or inhalation sedation.
  • Implant Nursing qualification or previous implant nursing experience.
  • Radiography qualification.
  • Oral Health Education qualification.
  • Dental Photography qualification.
  • Experience with digital dentistry, intraoral scanning, and CBCT workflows.
