Role: Our Digital, Data and Technology department is driving transformation at TPR to deliver positive outcomes for savers across the UK. We’re building a series of value stream-aligned Service Teams and supporting Platform Teams to deliver external and internal services. These Teams will work in a User Centred, Agile way to deliver better services, while securing sensitive data and maintaining stable services.
Responsibilities as Delivery Capability Lead:
- Agile & Lean Expert: Embedding Agile and Lean values and principles, guiding teams, measuring outcomes, and advocating for continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership & Problem-Solving: Building and motivating teams, fostering a positive working environment, and tackling challenges using an Agile mindset.
- Effective Communicator: Listening to stakeholders, managing expectations, and facilitating discussions across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Delivery & Financial Management: Managing value delivery, budgets, and escalating issues when necessary.
- Product Lifecycle & Third-Party Management: Ensuring ‘Government Service Standards’ are met at each phase, and managing relationships with contracted suppliers.
- Process Optimisation: Identifying and addressing inefficiencies, coaching teams on process improvement, and implementing new workflows.
Essential and Desirable:
- Expert experience in applying Agile and Lean principles.
- Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
- Demonstrable stakeholder management skills.
- Practitioner level experience in strategic supplier management.
- Expert ability to identify and address inefficiencies.
- Practitioner level experience in product lifecycles.
- Excellent understanding of modern technologies and architecture design.
- Experience of the Government Service Standard.
- Experience working with a team delivering Data products.
