The successful candidate will be delivery‑focused, technically capable, and comfortable working with ambiguity, and closely with diverse teams to solve problems, drive results and unblock challenges at source. Key to the success of the role is driving effective governance, reporting and inter‑dependencies, thus highlighting risks and issues and acting to resolve to ensure on‑time delivery of milestones and outcomes.

  • Proven experience and ability to link delivery execution to enterprise outcomes and value management via managing business portfolios, programmes and/or transformation programmes.
  • Demonstrable experience unblocking delivery issues for successful programme delivery and completion.
  • Comfortable in surfacing tensions and challenges to ensure successful resolution.
  • Operating at pace, prioritising effectively, and adapting delivery to shifting organisational needs without compromising outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, problem‑solving skills across technical and business stakeholders (inc. C Suite level).
  • Experience of putting in place and running portfolio governance and reporting.
  • Experience managing and working with outsourced service providers and technology vendors.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PPM, Agile, Scrum, Lean, PRINCE2, SAFe).
  • Experience embedding delivery excellence and value realisation, in regulatory or compliance driven environments.
  • Experience delivering digital, data and technology programmes of scale and complexity similar to TPR’s portfolio.
  • Appropriate technology, data and agile knowledge is therefore needed.
  • Strong track record of scoping and leading complex portfolios and programmes.
  • Experience in financial, regulated or public sector contexts.

Benefits

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • Hybrid working model.
  • 35 hour working week (full‑time), flexible working patterns, and flexitime.
  • Competitive parental leave.
  • Civil Service Pension with an average employer contribution of 28.97%.
  • Dedicated benefits portal (Edenred) offering retail, gym, tech and restaurant discounts, and a cycle‑to‑work scheme.
