We have a vacancy for a Trainee Client Service Team Associate. This is a great opportunity to develop a foundational knowledge of financial advice while gaining experience in providing key services to clients and advisers of the Penny Group. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, high attention to detail and the desire to deliver excellent outcomes to join our growing business.

Here at The Penny Group, our Client Service Team is responsible for the delivery of key services to our advisers and paraplanners in support of our clients, including the provision of portfolio reports, pre-meeting documentation, reviewing and correcting client cash accounts, drafting servicing letters and providing other services, as required. In addition, the Client Service Team Associate is required to maintain and keep up to date the relevant systems used for the delivery of our services.

Relevant Experience, Skills & Knowledge Required

Experience

  • Experience of office-based administration or customer service work would be beneficial, but not essential

  • Organised and able to manage own time effectively

Knowledge

Qualifications

  • Minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade 4 (C) and above.

Who could be a potential candidate for this position?

An entry level candidate (school leaver, or someone very early in determining their career path) wanting to gain foundation experience in financial services and build on this over time.

  • Career progression is encouraged, although the successful candidate would need to be prepared to establish themselves in this role before progressing.
  • Candidates must have a keen interest in financial services.
  • Whilst some previous administrative experience is preferred, it is not essential. However, the candidate should have a basic understanding of what a financial services business offers its clients.

Role Location:

The role will primarily be based at our Woking office with some travel to our London office, as required, for training and team/company meetings and events.Expenses will be covered for travel between the office locations.

Our trainee positions are initially office based to increase the opportunities to learn from colleagues. An office based/working from home split is available once the Probationary period has been successfully passed.
