Here at The Penny Group, our Personal Assistants provide dedicated support to members of the Leadership Team and Senior Advisers. This includes inbox and diary management, coordinating client meetings, maintaining accurate records, arranging internal and external meetings, supporting training and company meetings, managing travel arrangements and helping to ensure that client communications and documentation are completed accurately and on time.
The role will require you to work closely with advisers, the Client Service Team, senior management and other colleagues to ensure that high-quality client service is delivered. You will be responsible for managing your own workflow, anticipating requirements, keeping accurate records and proactively supporting the wider team, while working in accordance with tPG, Openwork and regulatory requirements.

- Two years’ experience in a PA role preferred.

- Candidates should have previous experience working as a PA, with two years’ experience preferred, together with a strong background in administration.
- The successful candidate should be highly organised, able to manage their own workload and work effectively with minimal supervision, while consistently maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are important, together with a confident, clear and professional telephone manner and the ability to build effective working relationships with advisers, senior management, clients and colleagues.
- The role would suit someone who is proactive, forward-thinking and able to anticipate what is needed, identify potential issues and take ownership of tasks without needing to be micro-managed.
- Candidates should be comfortable working under pressure, managing competing priorities and dealing with ambiguity, while remaining dependable and maintaining a strong focus on client service.
- A general understanding of the financial services market would be advantageous, together with good IT skills and working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Candidates should be willing to continue developing their skills and contribute to projects, events and wider business activities that support tPG in meeting its objectives.
Role Location: The role will primarily be based at our London office. Our positions are initially office based to increase the opportunities to learn from colleagues. An office based/working from home split is available once the Probationary period has been successfully passed. All roles are offered on an employed basis.
