Here at The Penny Group, our Paraplanners provide technical support to advisers and clients throughout the financial planning process. This includes undertaking research, formulating financial planning recommendations, preparing pre-meeting analysis and documentation, drafting reports and recommendations, and carrying out cashflow modelling. Paraplanners may also attend client meetings, take meeting notes and liaise directly with clients as required.
The role will require you to work closely with advisers, the Client Service Team and other colleagues to ensure that high-quality client services are delivered. You will be responsible for managing your own workflow, maintaining accurate client records and keeping up to date with technical, market and regulatory changes that impact our clients and services.

An experienced Paraplanner looking to build on their technical knowledge and experience within a growing Chartered financial planning business, with the opportunity to work closely with advisers and contribute to the delivery of high-quality financial planning for clients.
- Candidates should have previous experience working as a Paraplanner and hold a minimum Diploma qualification.
- The successful candidate should have strong technical knowledge of the financial services market and be committed to keeping up to date with technical, market and regulatory developments.
- Candidates should have experience of undertaking financial planning research, formulating recommendations and drafting high-quality reports.
- Experience of cashflow modelling and strong knowledge of Intelliflo would be advantageous.
- The successful candidate should be highly organised, able to manage their own workload and work effectively with minimal supervision, while consistently maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are important, together with the ability to explain recommendations clearly and build effective working relationships with advisers, clients and colleagues.
- The role would suit someone who takes ownership of their work, enjoys solving problems and is committed to delivering excellent outcomes for clients.

Role Location:
The role will primarily be based at our London office.Expenses will be covered for travel between the office locations, should this be required.
Our positions are initially office based to increase the opportunities to learn from colleagues. An office based/working from home split is available once the Probationary period has been successfully passed.
