ABOUT THE ROLE:

• We’re growing and looking for hard-working, high achievers to join our team as a Bike Mechanic.
• No need to be a bike expert—full on-the-job training provided with our bicycle academy program.
• Responsible for building, servicing, and repairing bikes to a high standard of safety and quality.
• Assisting customers with technical enquiries and providing support to the retail team by recommending suitable products and services.
• Managing workshop booking system and keeping customers informed about their bookings.

ABOUT YOU:

• Solid proven achievements. These can be demonstrated in personal goals, sporting or through study and work. We value a successful track record and drive.
• A past history demonstrating commitment, reliability, continual improvement and learning.
• Good communication skills and demonstrated success in developing and maintaining good relationships.
• Mechanical aptitude - we will provide on the job training.
• Some mechanical experience in a related field is desirable and experienced Bicycle Mechanics are highly valued.

ABOUT 99 BIKES:

99 Bikes opened the doors of its first tiny 170m2 shop in Milton, Brisbane in May 2007, a shop so small that we could only fit 99 bikes into the store. From that humble beginning, we have grown to become the largest bicycle retailer in Australia with 798 employees and we now have retail stores in the UK, New Zealand and Australia.
