What you'll be doing as a Senior Sous Chef at The Pelican:
β Assist the Head Chef in the daily operation of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
β Lead by example, providing guidance and support to chefs and kitchen staff.
β Prepare and present dishes to the highest standards, always ensuring consistency and quality.
β Ensure health and safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards are maintained.
β Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new menu items and specials that reflect seasonal fresh ingredients.
β Help manage kitchen inventory and assist with ordering supplies to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
β Be a key player in managing kitchen workflow, ensuring quick service during peak times.
