Sales Manager – Payroll Services Reports To: Commercial Director / CEO Location: Croydon Contract Type: Full-Time Initial Focus: 6-Month Strategic Execution Plan Role Purpose The Sales Manager – Payroll Services is a strategic leadership role focused on driving growth, launching new service lines, and building a high-performing sales function. You will lead the expansion of our Payroll business, identifying and developing opportunities in key verticals such as CIS (Construction Industry Scheme), PEO (Professional Employer Organisation), Payroll Bureau, and Outsourced Payroll. This role requires someone with both strategic thinking and operational delivery capabilities—someone who can research and develop a market entry plan, build the team to deliver it, and oversee execution through to commercial success. Key Responsibilities Build and Lead a Sales Team · Recruit, hire, and onboard at least 4 dedicated payroll salespeople · Establish a performance-focused culture with clear sales KPIs and individual targets · Deliver training, coaching, and mentoring to help your team succeed. · Implement sales technology (e.g., CRM) and reporting processes Market Research
