Alongside the Head of Clinical Pharmacy, the post holder will work with member practices and PCNs to support recruitment of practice and PCN‑based pharmacy staff, lead the development and delivery of SEL GP education and training workshops for pharmacy teams and wider practice and PCN teams, develop education and training materials, develop template SOPs for pharmacy staff where appropriate (e.g. to support our pharmacy technicians), develop strong relationships with the other pharmacy teams across the city at e.g. Leeds GP Confederation, Leeds CCG, Leeds and York Mental Health Trust, Leeds Community Health Care and Leeds Teaching Hospital, and community pharmacy, support GP clinical mentors for the CPPE pathway, deputise for the Head of Clinical Pharmacy at city‑wide meetings (e.g. Leeds Area Prescribing Committee), and contribute ideas to the SEL GP board regarding service development.
