This role is part time and temporary with the opportunity to increase hours. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and caring individual to join our team, providing top quality experiences for our pack members.
Purpose of RoleThe Paws Pack UK provides a number of services to dogs and their owners. We are looking for someone to join our team to walk our clients' dogs when required. In the first instance, you will shadow our business owner during regular walks in Preston/South Ribble to be shown how to work to our standards and eventually be able to deliver both solo and social walking sessions on your own.
Location and Hours- Once up to speed with our business, you will use your experience daily and will be expected to deliver walking appointments at clients' homes/areas located locally.
- To begin with, the job will be part time, roughly five hours per week with potential to increase hours as more clients join.
- You must own a vehicle to get to our various client locations and live within easy driving distance of them.
- Hours are currently across Monday - Friday from 9am - 4pm. However, all applying candidates must be able to work on a Monday and Friday each week, for definite. Hours on other days are available.
- Rate of pay is minimum wage but will be reviewed based on existing experience and responsibility.
- The ideal candidate would have some experience owning and training their own and others' dogs and be driven to care and look after dogs of all sizes.
- Be confident and able to communicate with people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Must be able to work under instruction, as part of a team and solo.
- Hold a full UK driver's license and access to their own vehicle (which will be used to transport dogs to/from social walks). Please do not apply for this position if you do not fit this criteria.
- Be proficient in using Google apps, such as Google Drive, Maps and Calendar.
- Problem solve and be able to work independently but also not afraid to ask for help when it is needed.
- Bring your dog to work (must be socialised, fully vaccinated and neutered).

Salary: Minimum wage for the applicant's age - Subject to review after probation period.

Why do you think you would make a great addition to our team? This is a four-hour contract to begin with. We do this as we can only advertise more once we have someone on board to fill the demand (as we currently do not have the capacity to take on more clients).
