PQA St Helens is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and committed Film & TV Teacher to join our vibrant academy. This is an exciting opportunity to shape young imaginations, build confidence, and develop practical filmmaking skills in a supportive and energetic environment.
About the Role- Deliver engaging, practical, and inspiring sessions in film and television production, with a regular output of high quality finished material.
- Guide students through key skills such as storytelling, camera work, editing, and performance for screen.
- Foster creativity, collaboration, and confidence in every student.
- Work closely with the academy team to ensure a consistent, high‑quality experience each week.
- This role requires commitment to Saturday mornings (9:30 am – 1:10 pm), providing essential continuity and stability for our students.
- Professional experience in the film and/or television industry.
- Experience working with children and young people, ideally in an educational or workshop setting.
- Energetic, reliable, and passionate about arts education.
- Ability to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
- Values consistency and understands the importance of regular attendance for student development.
