The Pauline Quirke Academy (PQA) is a weekend performing arts academy that offers tuition for children and young people aged 4-18 years. PQA students participate in three-hour sessions, rotating through Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre, and Film & Television classes. Our curriculum is designed by professionals from the performing arts and education sectors, ensuring high educational value and realistic industry practice. This helps provide our students with the best possible experience.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Musical Theatre Teacher, located in Stoke-On-Trent. The Musical Theatre Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging musical theatre lessons, guiding students through acting, singing, and movement exercises, and helping to develop their performance skills. The teacher will also participate in curriculum planning and execution, ensure a safe and positive learning environment, and support students individually and in groups in preparation for performances and assessments.

- Teaching and Teaching Acting experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with children and young people
- Experience in organizing performances and assessments is a plus
- Bachelor\'s degree in Performing Arts, Education, or a related field is preferred
