We are looking for a Film & TV Teacher, who can put our students through their paces, and teach them everything they need to know about creating their own short films & acting for camera!
Every year, we submit our films to the PQA National Film Festival, and every 2 years, hold a red carpet cinema screening where students see their films on the big screen.
The ideal candidate will be 21yrs or older (due to our upper student age limit), located in Stevenage; be passionate about Film & TV as well as the arts in general; and be excited about working with children and young people to help them develop their skillset as filmmakers, not to mention their ability to express themselves as individuals!
Our Film & TV Teacher must have studied Film; have relevant teaching and/or experience within the Film Production field; a can-do attitude; and be enthusiastic by the idea of working with students aged 6-18yrs, to help them create fantastic film projects.
Students need to be taught how to use all equipment (C100 camera, LED Lights, Sound Equipment etc); must understand the fundamental elements of putting a film together (storyboarding, location scouting, script writing, and similar) and the roles involved on a film crew (Director, Camera, Boom Operator, Clapper Loader, etc).
