The Pauline Quirke Academy is a weekend performing arts academy providing tuition for children and young people from ages 4 to 18. Students engage in three-hour sessions, rotating through classes in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre, and Film & Television. Our model, developed by professionals in the performing arts and education sectors, ensures our classes deliver high educational value and realistic industry practice, offering students the best possible experience.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role located in Bristol for a Dance/Musical Theatre Assistant. The Dance/Musical Theatre Assistant will be responsible for supporting and assisting in the delivery of dance and musical theatre sessions, ensuring students are engaged and learning effectively.

Our academies run on Friday evening and all day Saturdays. The candidate would need to be available for weekend work.

Qualifications

  • Experience and skills in Dance and Musical Theatre
  • Basic teaching assistant and classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and young people
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
