Musical Theatre Teacher

Due to the success of our growing academy, The Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts (PQA), a leading provider of weekend performing arts training, is currently recruiting MUSICAL THEATRE TEACHER for their Academy in Haywards Heath on Saturday mornings and/or afternoons (£60 per session). There may also be the opportunity for additional work for the right candidate.

You will need to have a good understanding of practical singing, dance, drama and performance techniques and be able to teach a range of genres which might include Pop, Musical Theatre, Acting Through Song and Musical Theatre on Film. There is also the opportunity to choreograph for PQA\’s West End Season, book musicals, showcases and live performances.

Ideally, applicants will be able to teach harmonies and choreograph full ensemble numbers to groups of children. Teaching experience would be beneficial but not essential as training and support will be given.

We are searching for fun, engaging and passionate individuals looking to bring lots of exciting and innovative ideas to our Musical Theatre module.
