Our Live Stage Production arm of The Path Entertainment Group, Showpath pushes the boundaries of exceptional theatre in order to reach a global audience. Following recent US production announcements including Monopoly Lifesized debuting in Denver, Colorado last October and the ongoing production of Dungeons and Dragons: Twenty Sided Tavern Off Broadway, transferring to Sydney Opera House and on a

major US Tour in 2025.

UK made – internationally focused, with major rollout planned for the US and other markets. Our key ingredient is play. We fuse competitive socialising concepts with theatricality and globally recognised brands in major city markets across the globe.

Monopoly Lifesized the debut attraction of the Path Entertainment Group opened in 2021, and has since opened in Riyadh, currently in Colorado and coming to the US soon. SAW debuted in 2022 with Lionsgate followed by the Paddington Bear experience opening in May 2024, a major new landmark site, located opposite London\’s big Ben.

Overview:

You will manage all aspects of our event process, from generating leads and executing sales to ensuring smooth delivery of events. You’ll liaise with all departments at Path to ensure excellence in our event offerings as well managing relevant external partners and clients.

Building strong relationships of leadership internally and externally by ensuring our core values; Pioneers, Act, Trust, Hunger, Excellence, Nimble, Talent and Smart have visibility within the business.

Role and responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of our event offerings across our key attractions; MONOPOLY LIFESIZED and The Paddington Bearâ„¢ Experience.
  • Work with the Commercial Operations Director, Head of Venue Operations and Sales Manager (Groups) on target setting for events across our experiences and ensure budgets are achieved.
  • Proactively generate outbound sales leads and follow up on all leads, using known contacts, collaborations, partnership opportunities etc.
  • Create an internal master document showcasing our offering that is constantly updated based on customer needs, supplier price changes, F&B costs, game prices, discounts and promotions.
  • Provide a full bespoke breakdown to the client of pricing and costings ensuring maximum profitability for the company.
  • Devise and maintain the company’s event planning process (including event planning sheet for each event) ensuring all departments adhere to the necessary protocols.
  • Hold weekly events meeting to brief the F&B, Operations and venue teams on events planning.
  • Ensure that all necessary sales agents are informed of our operational needs, working closely with the Head of F&B Operations.
  • Ensure that all allergens, dietary requirements and any other unique requirements are documented and communicated clearly to the F&B operational team for each event.
  • Drive upselling revenue generating opportunities, cross selling and add ons for all events.
  • Manage our key relationships with external sales partners and agents.
  • Network with key influential revenue stream drivers, EAs, event bookers, corporate opportunities, product launching teams etc.
  • Build and nurture relationships with businesses relating to our event offerings, covering both event bookers and collaboration opportunities.
  • Identify strategic opportunities in the London events calendar and contribute to overall venue diary planning and management – ensuring that the commercial potential of each date is identified and that all prospective hires are pencilled at the earliest possible opportunity with their status subject to regular review until contracted.
  • Manage our online listings on our attraction websites as well as external listing websites.
  • Work closely with the marketing manager to ensure our event offerings are being supported sufficiently with marketing activity.
  • Identify and attend key conferences and trade shows throughout the year, representing the Path Entertainment Group appropriately.

Experience and Skills requirements

Essential:

  • Highly organised and can collaborate and communicate effectively with Operations.
  • Experience of managing sales teams in the event or entertainment space.
  • Experience of delivering events of varying levels for up to 200 people.
  • Sound knowledge of food hygiene and safety requirements.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the event market among Path’s direct and indirect competitors.

Desirable:

  • Good working knowledge of sales and event reservation software, such as DesignMyNight and Open Table.
  • Strong ability to drive new partnerships and relationships for the group.
  • Up to date knowledge of food allergens and requirements.
