The Regional Operations Lead will serve as the critical operational interface between the global Open Road model and our regional markets. This critical role absorbs local complexity while enforcing global standards, acting as the clear front door for all regional operational matters. This position ensures that market escalations are handled with discipline and that all work is correctly routed into the appropriate global squad and workstream, ensuring a consistent and efficient delivery experience for our regional clients.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary operational point of contact for all senior client stakeholders within the designated region, building strong relationships and establishing trust.
  • Translate and implement global operational processes within the region, ensuring they are fit for purpose and adapted where necessary for the local market.
  • Manage regional resource allocation and capacity planning in collaboration with the Global Resource & Capacity Lead, identifying local needs and flagging resourcing challenges proactively.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for all regional operational issues, ensuring they are resolved efficiently or routed to the correct global team with clarity and context.
  • Drive collaboration between regional departments (e.g., local creative, media, client service) and global teams, ensuring smooth communication and effective, integrated ways of working, tracking performance, reviewing risks, and ensuring alignment with global standards.
  • Oversee regional change implementation projects, ensuring new processes, tools, and ways of working are adopted successfully by local teams.
  • Develop and manage advanced capacity models and provide accurate utilisation forecasting across all teams.
  • Define and manage the balance between fixed and flexible resourcing to optimise for both efficiency and capability.
  • Implement strategies for burnout prevention and proactive surge planning to manage periods of high demand.

  • Analytical & Commercial Judgement. Strong analytical skills combined with sharp commercial judgement to manage capacity, forecast utilisation, and make data-driven resourcing decisions.
