T&P, part of WPP, is one of the world’s leading integrated creative and media agencies, connecting talent and tech to drive growth for brands. Formed by the integration of The&Partnership and mSix&Partners, we bring together content creation and distribution into single end-to-end marketing solutions for brands such as Toyota, News UK and Five Guys.

While other agencies and holding companies talk about integration, we have actually done it. We have seen AI blur the lines between media, creative social, customer and PR and therefore our teams are made up of roles and specialisms from across all relevant disciplines to best meet the demands of modern marketing challenges. Our belief in the “Power of &” has helped us grow to a 1,500-strong global network and we are certain of it being the driving force behind our next phase of growth in the AI era.

About &Accelerate: Forget what you know about traditional agencies. We are &Accelerate, the operational brain of T&P’s high-growth unit. We reject lengthy SLAs and siloed departments, operating instead on a single belief: modern marketing requires the speed of AI fused with the intuition of Human Intelligence (HI). We are built to help insurgents like Hawkstone (the UK's fastest-growing beer brand) scale, and incumbents like Five Guys (the UK's favourite burger brand) thrive by hacking culture. We don't just connect talent and tech; we build lean, integrated pods that operate at the pace of the market, not the org chart. Powered by WPP Open, our proprietary AI platform, we turn insights into action in hours, not weeks.

The Role: The Senior Account Director is the operational and client lead at the heart of our model. You are the engine of our ‘Two Gears’ system, constantly toggling between long-term strategy and real-time tactical execution. In Strategic Gear, you guide the big brand and commercial bets that build equity and drive long-term growth. In Tactical Gear, you lead the daily, reactive content engine, finding unfair advantages and in-market opportunities to hack the interest graph and drive immediate performance. You live and breathe the WPP Open platform, using our agentic teams and AI tools to deliver integrated solutions that are faster, smarter, and more effective. You are the client's partner in pace, motivating a multidisciplinary pod to produce exceptional work that delivers tangible commercial results.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the Relationship: Lead the day-to-day client partnership at the speed of culture, acting as the trusted advisor for both the big strategic bets and the daily tactical sprints.
  • Co-Create the Brief: Challenge traditional briefs. You don't wait for them; you anticipate needs and use real-time cultural signals and data to shape the opportunity.
  • Lead the Pod: Drive a lean, integrated team of ‘&-shaped’ talent across creative, media, strategy, and production to deliver high-quality, fully integrated work. You ensure the team is structured for speed, not silos.
  • Be an AI Super-User: You will be a power user of the WPP Open platform, leveraging AI to deliver on our objectives.
