As the Account Director, you are a key strategic lead for the brand's marketing initiatives for an integrated client with social-first thinking. You will be a primary senior client contact, responsible for driving the brand’s cultural relevance and orchestrating the delivery of innovative creative campaigns. This role requires a sophisticated understanding of the luxury landscape and modern marketing dynamics. You will lead your team to execute flawlessly while championing the use of our AI-powered platform, WPP Open, to deliver intelligent, data-driven insights and content at scale. This is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract with possibility to extend.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior day-to-day lead and trusted advisor for clients on all marketing strategies and activities.
- Lead the end-to-end management of integrated campaigns with social-first and influencer thinking, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and are strategically aligned with the brand's objectives.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Client Service professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Oversee the financial health of the account, including accurate scoping, budget management, and forecasting to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with Strategy and Creative leads to develop inspiring creative briefs that lead to best-in-class, idea-led work.
- Ensure the seamless integration of all campaign activities within the broader marketing mix, working closely with brand, media, and PR teams.
- Drive the strategic use of our intelligent operating system, WPP Open, for trend analysis, insight generation, and performance measurement to optimise campaigns in real-time.
