Part-time Senior Bookkeeper wanted in Manchester

About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to support our clients on a Part-Time basis in Manchester and surrounding areas.

As aSenior BookkeeperforThe Part-Time Finance People, you will be providing SME clients with a tailored financial support service to help address barriers with their accounting process while preparing and explaining financial information that positively impacts profit and cash flow.

About You:

You should be an experienced Finance Manager with hands on exposure working in growing SMEs.

Ideally, you are already self-employed, with at least 3 days of availability per week.

Your expertise should include:

Customer invoicing and sales ledger management

Credit control and debtor reporting to directors

Supplier invoices and purchase ledger management

Drafting payment runs for approval

Bank postings and reconciliations

Expense and credit card management and reconciliation

VAT returns

Payroll (possibly) and pension administration

Month-end journals including depreciation, accruals, and prepayments

Experience user of Xero (ideally you have exposure with Sage50 & QuickBooks as well)
