About the Opportunity

For over 18 years, YRH Finance Team has helped UK SMEs grow with confidence through high-impact fractional finance support. We give business owners access to senior commercial finance expertise—without the cost or commitment of a full-time hire. As demand continues to grow, we’re expanding our footprint across Manchester and surrounding areas and are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to take ownership of this high-potential region. This is a genuine build-and-grow role. You’ll develop your own territory, establish strong relationships with SME owners and professional introducers, and steadily build a portfolio that delivers long-term, recurring income. You’ll be supported by a trusted brand, proven services, and a structured onboarding programme to set you up for success from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Engaging with SME owners (£1.5m–£10m turnover) in a consultative, value-led way
  • Managing the full sales journey—from initial conversation through to onboarding
  • Building and nurturing introducer relationships (accountants, advisors, brokers, etc.)
  • Representing a highly credible fractional finance offering with strong client retention
  • Growing the Manchester territory and developing a sustainable, recurring-revenue portfolio

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven B2B sales experience working with SME decision-makers
  • Comfortable leading commercial, strategic conversations at owner/MD level
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong focus on results
  • Confidence discussing business and financial performance (no accounting qualification required)
  • Experience building introducer relationships from scratch and scaling them into consistent referral pipelines
  • A collaborative mindset, with the autonomy to manage your own territory

Why Join us
