About the Opportunity

For over 18 years, The Part-Time Finance People has helped UK SMEs grow with confidence through high-impact fractional finance support. We give business owners access to senior commercial finance expertise—without the cost or commitment of a full-time hire. As demand continues to grow, we’re expanding our footprint across London and are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to take ownership of this high-potential region. This is a genuine build-and-grow role. You’ll develop your own territory, establish strong relationships with SME owners and professional introducers, and steadily build a portfolio that delivers long-term, recurring income. You’ll be supported by a trusted brand, proven services, and a structured onboarding programme to set you up for success from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Engaging with SME owners (£1.5m–£10m turnover) in a consultative, value-led way
  • Managing the full sales journey—from initial conversation through to onboarding
  • Building and nurturing introducer relationships (accountants, advisors, brokers, etc.)
  • Representing a highly credible fractional finance offering with strong client retention
  • Growing the London territory and developing a sustainable, recurring-revenue portfolio

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven B2B sales experience working with SME decision-makers
  • Comfortable leading commercial, strategic conversations at owner/MD level
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong focus on results
  • Confidence discussing business and financial performance (no accounting qualification required)
  • Experience building introducer relationships from scratch and scaling them into consistent referral pipelines
  • A collaborative mindset, with the autonomy to manage your own territory

Why Join us

  • Uncapped recurring commission with significant long-term earning potential
  • Ownership of a warm, high-opportunity London territory
  • Comprehensive onboarding, training, and ongoing sales support
  • High-value services with excellent client retention
  • A role that rewards relationship-building, not short-term transactions
