Finance Manager wanted for clients in or around the South London area (within a 45 minute radius from location preferred).

About the Role:

The role is to work with our clients in their business, this could be within a variety of industries including professional services, manufacturing, retail/wholesale, construction, technology or media. We are looking for an experienced and commercially-minded Finance Manager to look after the day-to-day accounting, streamline the accounting processes, and help move the business forward, on a part-time basis.

About You:

You should be a qualified and experienced Finance Manager with experience working in growing SMEs. Ideally, you are already self-employed, with at least 2 days of availability per week. Your expertise should include:

  • Customer invoicing and sales ledger management
  • Credit control and debtor reporting to directors
  • Supplier invoices and purchase ledger management
  • Drafting payment runs for approval
  • Supplier reconciliations
  • Bank postings and reconciliations
  • Expense and credit card management and reconciliation
  • VAT returns
  • Payroll (possibly) and pension administration
  • Month-end journals including depreciation, accruals, and prepayments

As this role is two days a week (self-employed basis) it could work alongside other client work.

Rate of pay: £22.50 per hour.
