Part-time Financial Controller required in Warrington.
About the role:
We are looking for a detailed-orientated and experienced Financial Controller to join us at The Part-Time Finance People to support our clients in Warrington and surrounding areas. We provide tailored financial support for SMEs with our clients specifically requiring an experienced and commercially-minded Financial Controller who can lead the finance function and provide clearer visibility around the financials on a part-time basis.
About You:
You should be an experienced Financial Controller with experience working in growing SMEs. Preferably, you are already self-employed and available quickly with at least 2 days of availability per week.
Your expertise should include:
- Preparation of management accounts/reports
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow and profit forecasting
- Experience and working knowledge of Xero (ideally exposure with Sage50, QuickBooks as well)
- Experienced in assessing and implementing appropriate financial controls
- Commercially experienced
- Year-end processes (but not statutory accounts)
- Experienced Excel user including pivots, sumifs and graphs
- Proficiency in presenting financial and commercial information to non-financial leaders
- You must be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/FCCA/ICAEW) or QBE (5+ years) with experience managing a finance team.
Rate of pay: £35 per hour
Location: Warrington (Onsite)
Hours: 2-3 days available
