About the role
As the ICT Change Portfolio Lead, you will be responsible for leading the management of the ICT Change Portfolio of associated projects, ICT initiatives and department plan to ensure alignment and consistency with the overall PHSO business strategy.
The role will ensure projects follow either waterfall or agile methodologies, are successfully delivered to their defined outcomes within allocated resources; and are of consistent quality.
You will be commercially aware, with the ability to manage the desired benefits outcomes of projects and associated ICT solution deliverables arising from the work associated with the ICT departments’ technical infrastructure roadmap.
The role holder will be a proven influencer and communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
You will be experienced in leading business analysis and strategic planning, including requirements definition and business case production. You will be able to organise and lead the team to achieve objectives and targets.
You will have the opportunity to develop a business engagement model to identify and shape demands and business needs.
The role is responsible for the ICT Change Portfolio delivery framework, its associated governance, and policies, thereby maintaining structure and alignment of planned projects and other ICT initiatives.
You will be joining the organisation at a fantastic time and will be responsible for delivering a varied portfolio, continuing the progress made in the journey to modernising systems and digital transformation
Previous experience of leading Microsoft 365 adoption, Microsoft Dynamics, Smarter Working, Corporate Intelligence, and Corporate Systems replacement projects would be an advantage.
The role will be home based until its safe to return to the Manchester office. It is expected that the role will continue to offer flexibility between home and office-based working.
Experience working within Central Government would be an advantage.
