Willen Lake is Milton Keynes’ most popular park with activities on and off the water for the whole family. Whether that’s scaling new heights at Treetop Extreme, cooling down at Splash ‘n’ Play or learning a new skill out on the water, there’s something for everyone. Plus, with 180 acres of beautiful lakeside park to enjoy, many of our visitors choose to spend the whole day with us.

Willen Lake is managed by The Parks Trust, an independent charity, that cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space in Milton Keynes. Our aim is to provide beautiful, diverse and sustainable parks, lakes, woods and landscapes that will be loved by the people of Milton Keynes, forever.

We are looking for Splash ‘n’ Play Assistants to join our team to deliver memorable experiences to our younger visitors (and their grown‑ups). As part of this varied role, you will be monitoring safe play on the pad, as well ensuring the facility is kept clean and tidy. You will also work on our kiosk, checking and selling tickets and retail items.

The role will require working shifts across a 7‑day operation, typically between the hours of 9am and 6pm. Working a minimum of one in two weekends, as well as some bank holidays should be expected.

Location: Willen Lake, Milton Keynes.

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Contract Type: Casual Agreement

Working hours: Zero Hours

Flexibility: We understand the need to balance life and commitments in and out of work and will support flexibility wherever it is practical to do so.

About You: We are looking for flexible and outgoing individuals who are confident interacting with visitors of all ages to ensure a memorable experience. Experience of working with children or families would be advantageous.
