We are looking for someone to join our close-knit team front of house on the reception desk. We have 27.5 hours available across 5 days.

Main duties of the job:

  • Booking patients' appointments
  • Navigating alternative appointments and services
  • Assisting colleagues
  • Answering emails and completing tasks
  • Handing out patients' medication that is ready to collect

About us:

Blisworth surgery is a part of the Parks Medical Practice. We have 4 sites in total - Hanslope, Blisworth, Roade and Grange Park. We recently joined partnership with Danes Camp and Rillwood surgeries as well.

Job responsibilities:

We are looking for a dedicated, reliable receptionist, who will go above and beyond within their job role. To remain professional at all times but build a rapport with our patients. Happy to help wherever possible and always carry a smile. To also work on our Dispensary "Hatch" handing out prescriptions to patients who come to collect their medication, offering help and assistance to their queries.

  • System 1 trained
  • Experience System One trained
  • Disclosure and Barring Service Check: This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
