The Panther Group is seeking a Production Technician to join our client's manufacturing team in Franklin, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, dependable, hands-on, and comfortable working in a production/shop environment. The Production Technician will support day-to-day manufacturing operations by preparing workstations, handling and moving materials, operating production equipment, and assisting with the assembly and packaging of finished products.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize workstations for production activities.
- Press and process ceramic tiles.
- Operate buffing equipment.
- Scrape and finish ceramic tiles as needed.
- Pack and prepare finished products for shipment.
- Build Armor mats.
- Lift and move materials and products weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow established production procedures and safety guidelines.
- Assist with general shop‑floor and production activities as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
- Previous production or manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required.
- Willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
- Positive, dependable, and eager‑to‑work attitude.
- Comfortable working on a manufacturing/shop floor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to regularly lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a production environment.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
