The Panther Group is seeking a Production Technician to join our client's manufacturing team in Franklin, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn, dependable, hands-on, and comfortable working in a production/shop environment. The Production Technician will support day-to-day manufacturing operations by preparing workstations, handling and moving materials, operating production equipment, and assisting with the assembly and packaging of finished products.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and organize workstations for production activities.
  • Press and process ceramic tiles.
  • Operate buffing equipment.
  • Scrape and finish ceramic tiles as needed.
  • Pack and prepare finished products for shipment.
  • Build Armor mats.
  • Lift and move materials and products weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow established production procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with general shop‑floor and production activities as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.

Qualifications

  • Previous production or manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and equipment.
  • Positive, dependable, and eager‑to‑work attitude.
  • Comfortable working on a manufacturing/shop floor.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a production environment.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.

Pay up to $23 per hour W2 depending on experience #INDENG
