Is looking for a Laundry Aide for its BrandNew Palace at Weston

An Independent, Assisted Living & Memory Care Community

The #1 Priority of this position is…

To wash and press the community’s dining room tablecloths & napkins as well as the towels & aprons for the Beauty Salon, Wellness Center, and kitchen. Distribute the clean supply of the above to the appropriate users.

• Wash, dry, & iron all laundry, separating items as outlined in policies & procedures.
• Maintain shelves neat and organized.
• Fold and put away linen inventory.
• Process and discard stained, soiled, and reject linen.
• Follow daily and weekly laundry room cleaning schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in laundry duties in hotel or healthcare settings preferred.
• Must be able to operate industrial-sized washer, dryer & press machine; training provided.
• Ability to fold, organize, and inventory linens.

• Flexible with work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays, and in emergencies.
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
